We came back from the kingdom of stone- Hualien, and had a great time in such a beautiful place for four days and three nights. The weather had been raining for several days in the southern of Taiwan before we departed. However, Albert, who is my boyfriend, determined to take the trip no matter what the weather is. In order to have enough energy for the trip, we decided to go to bed early. We set the alarm clock at 6 o’clock a.m. I seem to hear the sound of rain in midnight. That was a heavy rain. Before the alarm clock went off I had woken up in the morning. I jumped out of the bed and looked through the window. Goodness! I saw the rain has stopped. But we still worried about a bit. We freshen up quickly since we must take the MRT early and transfer to Kaohsiung train station. About 12 o’clock we arrived in the destination. Wow! The weather was so sunny and hot. I felt excited about the beautiful seashores and spectacular mountains. We liked all of Hualien except the hot weather. When it comes to Hualien, many people think of Taroko National Park. If you miss Taroko National Park means you have never been to Hialien. Hualien is a place full of excitement. We were impressed by the beautiful views and magnificent mountains. We traveled several valleys and played in the brook. The stream is as cold as ice cream and so pellucid that we could see the riverbed. We can also see the numerous of fish swimming below the brook. We enjoyed playing in the brook than the sea because the former hasn’t salt ingredient, which might make my skin sticky. Unfortunately, suddenly I slipped on the stones. Luckily everything was fine except a little injury on my legs and I am terrified. Much to my surprise, my digital camera wasn’t broken at all. Leaving here to another resort spots, and I have a yell of delight and said bye-bye to” Grandpa Mountain”. All the beautiful views have front of us when riding down the mountain roads. Reluctant to give up, but we need to go to Taroko National Park which was famous around the world. We spend a few hours from Hualien City to Taroko National Park and felt tired. Suddenly many exclamation points appear on our heart when we went though the mountains to others. From here we just can say that living in Hualien is happy. The Taroko National Park is as spectacular as Grand Canyon. It’s even more impressive in real life. Swallows’ Grotto, Tiansiang, The Eternal Spring Shrine, Cihmu Bridge and Shakadang trail all are famous spots in Taroko National We spent 40 minutes to walk trail and enjoyed along the views. Swallows’ Grotto trail has 4.4 kilometer in length. I’m sorry that we don’t have enough time to finish it. In the last day of the trip, we went to the famous sticky rice cakes store in front of the Hualien train station to buy numerous of souvenirs for families and friends. Our perfect vacation was finished after leaving the Hualien train station.
